DISSABTE 21 DE NOVEMBRE 

El tomàquet és una de les hortalisses més importants en l'alimentació catalana. Es cultiva des de fa molt de temps i ha estat un protagonista de pes per a la pagesia catalana.

Vine al PLAT de Gràcia a conèixer la realitat dels nostres tomàquets de la mà d'un dels seus realitzadors, Jordi Oriola. 

En el documental La Ruta del Tomàquet, ens sorprendrà conèixer la procedència dels tomàquets que afecten a la producció catalana. Viatjarem als països d'on provenen i intentarem entendre com arriben a produir tan barat i quins problemes pot implicar per a les seves societats. També examinarem quin és el paper d'una empresa pública com Mercabarna en aquesta situació. I explorarem quins escenaris possibles existeixen.

Tomatos are one of the more important vegetables in the catalan diet. It has been grown since a long time ago, being a leading actor for catalan farmers.

Join "al PLAT de Gràcia" to discover the reality of our tomatos directly by one of its producers, Jordi Oriola.

Watching the documentary "La ruta del Tomàquet", you'll be surprised to discover the origin of the tomatos that affect the catalan production. We'll travel to the countries from which those tomatos are from and we'll try to understand how they manage  to produce so cheaply and which problems this system triggers in their society. We'll also discuss the role of public companies like Mercabarna in this problem and possible solutions.
